When I was a teenager and in my early twenties, I must have had a bad reputation where my love life was concerned. Not that I led a promiscuous love life, far from it. I simply felt different for the Dutch females I knew than the other guys my age. These other guys got to have sexual relationships where I didn’t, and that I now figure I was stigmatized as not deserving a love life. But that I realized what I was looking for when I visited Australia in 1984.  I got to follow classes at an Australian college, and the way males and females interacted in this school was just like I envisioned it! It is like the ugly duck that discovers it really is a swan. I feel I am not interested in Dutch women as partner because we would want totally different things from our relationship. I would be more compatible with an American woman. Back when the American military was still here I have been in love with several of their women. This isn’t coincidental, this is because these women were more the way I wanted women to be. But that in the end, the Americans weren’t going to let me be with one of their women for real and neither would the Dutch. So I was left in no man’s land. My health has become so bad, I couldn’t sustain a real relationship with anybody anymore, but something is telling me that if I really want an American or Australian spouse that I can have her. As it is it appears as if the Dutch are making sure I cannot be with any Dutch woman I would like, and that in the meantime I have become so unattractive that I feel I would be better off with a spouse with a similar career background as me. Because truth is I was boycotted by the Dutch where a love life is concerned. The Dutch with all their envy can never be a good deal for me, besides I would really prefer to live in Australia, and a Dutch woman isn’t of any use to me in Australia.

PS It all comes down to control. The Dutch wanted 100% control over my love life, but that when I fell in love with this American military radio presenter that the Dutch lost all control over my love life and this must be the reason why the Dutch acted to make me unattractive.

I figure I was deliberately made psychotic in 1987, these people wanted me to be down and out and desperate. That they aimed to bring me in a state of mind that I would be a different person and that after this the Dutch would give me a wife to keep me sane, right now I realize that these people would have made me wait for 10 years for this woman. Because Schizophrenia alone was not enough to get me in the mind set these people wanted, I also got a pacemaker, and again this had to do with how the Dutch government wanted me to be. This pacemaker was needed for this woman to ‘own’ me, that she would literally have the key to my heart. The reason I never was with this woman was because I had fallen in love with someone else. All this must have to do with religion, that the scripture said that I wasn’t allowed to have sex and that I had to be with this woman, my only female partner my entire life. The justification for the Netherlands government to do all this to me must be Christianity. The Dutch want me to be a devout Christian, and they will use any means to make sure I am a believer! I only wonder how I am ever going to live a normal life anymore with all these health problems.

Every time when I am trying to think – if I am well rested or not – I experience a barrier stopping me from using my mind academically. That when I am considering to pick up a book about programming that my mind immediately enters some sort of sleep mode. That wanting to utilize my brain triggers sleepiness. I am wondering if this is deliberately being done to me by people who don’t want me to read or program, and if this is really possible. As it is this situation gets me really upset!

Since about a month I am programming the OpenGL graphics interface. I find this a lot of fun. What I have been doing is translate C sources into C# sources, this way I can get to learn more about OpenGL without having to break my brain. This picture was made by a source from the OpenGL Red Book. I don’t understand everything yet, but my goal is to learn a little everyday.

Here is a picture I made today, I had the code working in one day. While this picture uses light, color, and material properties. I never imagined this would be so easy! Will experiment some more with lights and materials.

PS, C# is a programming language, and OpenGL is a software interface to be able to easily program software applications for all sorts of Operating Systems and Computer types (like Apple and PC) without having to know about the Graphics User Interface of  your specific type of computer.

Isn’t most of the world’s inflation caused by too generous increases of wages? I mean consider Australia for instance, they paid off their whole National Debt and they have budget surpluses of over 10 billion Australian dollar each year, this is possible because of the ‘mining boom’. Still Australia has a problem with high inflation. This inflation is caused because people say “there is plenty money we want 10% extra pay!” Even though Australia would probably be able to pay that much more, it isn’t getting the Australian people anywhere. Because more pay translates into more inflation because people have more money to spend shops simply raise their prices because of increased demand (this is the impression I am getting). This reminds me of America where the cost of postage for a letter within the USA was 19 cent for 25 years, then someone figured: “We haven’t raised our postage rate for so long don’t all items go up in price?” So then the US Postal Service raised their postage to some 21 cent. Still this is precisely the strength of the US Economy. What is the use of paying people more if it will only result in prices going up and buying power to remain the same or even worsening? Wouldn’t it be much better to make people aware that large pay rises are not in their interest, that they want increased buying power and that pay rises are not always in their interest? I would imagine that pay rises need to be small and need to result in more buying power. We don’t control the price of oil, or the global demand for oil products. But for instance the milk price in Europe which is going up, if farmers get so little money for their milk that they barely break even with their business, shouldn’t this be reason for consumers to be willing and understanding that it is in  their country’s interest to pay a more realistic price for things like milk and bread. There is the big difference and coexistence of people in our society with a lot of money to spend and people with a little money to spend. What if you run a shop and that you discover when you raise the amounts for items with 10 to 25 percent that most people don’t even notice this but that then people with the low incomes can no longer afford items from your shop? So the shop will make more profit but the low income people can no longer afford to buy from your shop. For instance consider Australia again, if you buy a PC there it would cost 1300 Australian Dollar, while the same PC would cost some 1100 Euro in Europe. While an Australian Dollar is only 60 cent to the Euro. PC brands only consider what price locals are willing to pay. Which makes me consider the USD, with its exchange rate of 1.50 Dollar to the Euro; does it really mean American goods are 33% cheaper to build? Of course not! This makes the global economy appear like the leaning tower of Pisa! For a long time I have thought that maybe there should be a difference in price between essential goods (like food and housing) which should be affordable and that luxury goods should be relatively more expensive. But this isn’t a good concept. I feel prices should be realistic and fair for producer and consumer. That a price reflects an item’s value and not appears like a number which seems like an affordable and good deal which is a price the consumer is willing to pay. Wouldn’t it be essential for our economic sanity that money like gold doesn’t lose its value? Because we buy goods because we can afford them and not because its prices reflect their value to us, that this is the fundamental reason for our inflation? If you buy a radio and it says 99 Euro, that at the time of purchase you should know that this radio cost about 99 Euro with profit for producer and shop and that this radio is really worth 99 Euro. Consider the quality of durable goods, in America you could buy a General Electric sandwich toaster which would last 30 years. Now this is reason for inflation to remain low. Of course we would have a problem if all luxury goods we bought were only intended to last 10 years and would then be written off. That’s real inflation! In 1988 I bought a stereo set it cost me about 1400 Dutch Guilders these days be it with a few glitches it still serves me well. If it would break down on me beyond repair I would need to spend 1000 Euro to buy me a new stereo, so I would need more money which I wouldn’t have needed had this stereo set not broken. All this is inflation. On the other hand, what is the use of a car that last 20 years? Car technology progresses rapidly and cars can be recycled, so there are items which should be replaced every 5 to 10 years, like for instance refrigerators, because newer models use less electricity, or new cars with better gas mileages. I figure inflation can be combated by changing the way ordinary people spend their money and not by raising interest rates. Even though I feel a 5% interest rate is about right in most situations.
